In summer 2006 lebanonmymind founder Lars Seiler left Beirut due to the war. Stuck in Berlin he felt the urge to do something to help the people of Lebanon during that time.

Together with friends from Berlin and Beirut he organized a big fund raising event at the famous Watergate Club in Berlin, where he gathered the who-is-who of electronic music including M.A.N.D.Y., DJ Hell, Tiefschwarz, Ewan Pearson, Tobi Neumann, Patrick Chardonnet, DJ T, Dirt Crew and others.

Almost 10.000 $ were raised in the event and transferred to a humanitarian organization in Lebanon providing shelter and medical support for the victims of the war.

Today, many of the DJs that played in this event are regularly coming to Beirut to play at The Basement club.
