Since 2004 lebanonmymind founder Lars Seiler is a regular guest in the Beirut nightlife scene, performing as a DJ under his pseudonym Erich Bogatzky.

When his first record was released it had to be a dedication to Beirut and Lebanon. The title "Murex" is a reference to the glorious Phoenician times of Lebanon.

The release received an overwhelming feedback from top rank international DJs including Laurent Garnier, Dubfire, Satoshi Tomiie, John Digweed, Shinedoe, Ivan Smagghe, Hernan Cattaneo, Djuma Soundsystem, Anthony Pappa, Desyn Masiello, Dave Seaman, Sasse, Joey Beltram, Mark Knight, Brother's Vibe, Martin Landsky, Nick Warren and many more.
